Coetzee Earns Academic All-District VI Honors

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - University of New Mexico senior men's tennis player Divan Coetzee earned First Team Academic All-District VI honors announced by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) today. Coetzee, holding a 3.668 GPA while obtaining his Master's Degree in Finance, is now eligible for the Academic All-America teams.

In his three year career at UNM, this is Coetzee's first bid to the all-district team. Other awards he has accumulated this year are All-MWC first team, MWC Player of the Year, ITA Mountain Regional Senior Player of the Year and ITA/Rolex Mountain Regional Singles Champion. Coetzee set a new single-season win record at UNM this year, going 37-10. He tied Pepe Caballero for the most career wins at New Mexico, finished 96-30.
