STANFORD, Calif. - The 24th-ranked doubles tandem of Rafael Abreu and Jordan Freitas posted a 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(5) victory over Nick Meythaler and Ryan Rizza of Virginia on Friday afternoon to advance to the quarterfinals of the 2006 NCAA doubles championships.

The TCU tandem awaits the winner of the match between Duke versus Florida State match. Match time is slated for 2 p.m. (CST)
