TULSA, Okla. - Senior Divan Coetzee's monumental season came to an end this afternoon at the hand of Auburn's 20th-ranked Gabor Zoltan Pelva in the first round of the NCAA Singles Championships in Tulsa, Okla. Pelva took the match 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the round of 32 where he will face ninth-ranked Doug Stewart of Virginia.

The loss ends Coetzee's career as a Lobo, leaving him tied for first place with Pepe Caballero for the most wins in UNM history. Coetzee, ranked 22nd nationally, went 96-30 in three years and 37-10 this season. He set a new UNM record for the most singles wins in one season.
