STANFORD, Calif. - The senior tandem of Rafael Abreu and Jordan Freitas posted a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 victory over Thomas Liversage and Pierrick Ysern of San Diego on Thursday afternoon to advance to the round of 16 of the 2006 NCAA Doubles Championships.

Currently ranked 27th in the ITA doubles poll, the duo has setup a showdown with the 28th-rated squad of Eric Langenkamp and Ryan Keckley of Notre Dame on Friday. Match time is slated for a 6 p.m. (CST) start.
