SALT LAKE CITY - Wes Hancock, a senior at Pine View High School in St. George, Utah, has signed a national letter of intent with the University of Utah men's tennis team. The announcement was made today by Ute head coach F.D. Robbins.

Hancock has won four consecutive the Utah 3A state titles. He is currently No. 2 in the Intermountain Region Under-18 rankings. Hancock played for the Intermountain Region Junior Davis Cup team the last two years. He has a 3.9 grade-point average and will join the Utes this fall.

"Wes will make an immediate impact on our team and we are very excited to have him come aboard," said Robbins.
