SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah's Zach Ganger will represent the men's tennis team this year at the 2007 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships. The selected 64 singles and 32 doubles teams will compete on May 23-28, 2007 at Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Georgia.

Ganger, a junior and co-captain of the 2006-07 squad, is currently ranked 49th in the nation by the ITA with a 27-11 overall record. He is also ranked No. 57 in doubles play with partner Miron Mann (15-5).

Ganger will enter the 2007 NCAA Division I Championships as an at-large singles player. This is the first time the Ute has represented the Utes in singles play at the NCAA Championships. Ganger has competed twice in doubles play at the tournament in the past two years, once with Mann, and once with Nick Coutts.
