ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The NCAA men's tennis commitee announced the selections to the singles and doubles championships Thursday afternoon and three Lobos, Divan Coetzee and the doubles team of Brent Salazar and Ryan Stotland will all be participating in the prestigious postseason event.

The tournament begins May 21st and runs through May 26th and all matches take place in Athens, Georgia. Match times and opponents have yet to be announced.

All three Lobos were selected out of the Mountain Division's corps of players. Coetzee is one of four singles players chosen from the division, along with Marcus Bernston of Boise State, Oliver Maiberger of San Diego State and Shannon Buck of the Air Force Academy.

On the doubles side, competition was much stiffer as Salazar and Stotland, the nation's 27th-ranked collegiate tennis duo, were one of just two doubles teams selected from the region. No. 3 Ryan Redondo and Maiberger of San Diego State was the other team chosen.

This marks the second consecutive year for Coetzee, a junior at UNM, to play in the NCAAs and the first time for both the senior Salazar and the sophomore Stotland. It also marks the first time since 1996 that three different Lobo players will participate in the tournament.

Coetzee is 30-9 this season in singles play and at one point had won nine straight matches in dual match play. Salazar and Stotland had a number of high-profile wins throughout the season and finished the year at 17-7 overall in doubles play.
