LAS VEGAS - Both UNLV tennis teams will be seeded third at their respective Mountain West Conference championship tournament, the league announced Tuesday.

The 48th-ranked men's team (11-9), which finished 2-3 in the conference, is seeded behind San Diego State and New Mexico, both of whom received byes at the six-team event being staged in Salt Lake City. The Rebels will face sixth-seed Air Force in the first round on April 26, with the winner moving on to take on the Lobos.

The 65th-ranked women's team (9-11), which finished 5-2 in the MWC, including winning its last four league matches, is seeded behind Brigham Young and San Diego State. The Lady Rebels, who are the defending champions, will open against fourth-seeded Colorado State at the eight-team event on April 26 in Fort Collins, Colo. Both tournaments run through April 28.
