SDSU won the doubles point and clinched the match by winning three of the singles matches. Senior Matt Bere won the deciding match at No. 6 singles in three tie-break sets against Andrew Irving of New Mexico, 7-6, 6-7, 7-6.

Maiberger Earns Player of the Week Honors

San Diego State sophomore Oliver Maiberger moved up one spot to No. 21 in this week's ITA poll. Maiberger is 15-1 in dual matches this season and 13-0 at the No. 1 singles position. His victories include wins over two of the nation's top players. He defeated defending national champion Alex Kim of Stanford, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1, Feb. 10.
