TULSA, Okla. - The 51st-ranked Tulsa men's tennis team defeated No. 61 New Mexico, 5-2 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa.

The Lobos won the doubles point, as Bart Scott and Jasmin Hodzic teamed at No. 2 for a win, while Divan Coetzee and David Kowalski won at the No. 3 spot.

But the Lobos were less succesful on the singles side, dropping five of six matches.

Hodzic defeated Aleksander Charpantidis at the number five spot, but that was the only win New Mexico (4-3) could muster. Bart Scott, ranked at No. 60 dropped a tight 6-3, 6-4 match to 43rd-ranked Alejandro Tejerina, in what was the closest singles match of the day.
