Gert Vilms had a strong showing against UCLA and USC, going 1-1 in singles and 1-1 in doubles.

The biggest upset of the weekend was when Vilms and Carlos Lozano defeatedUCLA's No. 1 doubles team of Jean-Noel Grinda and Jean-Julien Rojer, 8-6.

USC brings three ranked players in No. 18 Andrew Park, No. 56 Nick Rainey, and No. 96 Parker Collins. The doubles team of Rainey and Ryan Moore is ranked No. 8 in the nation.
