STANDFORD, Calif. - Utah's Nick Coutts and Zach Ganger will return home from the NCAA Men's Tennis Championships after a grueling match against LSU's Ken Skupski and Mark Growcott on Thursday. Competition ended in a 7-6(3), 6-3 loss for Utah, and advancing LSU's duo to the Round of 16.

The Utes battled hard against the LSU Tigers in the opening set to force the teams into a tiebreaker with a tie score of 6-6. The tiebreaker was ended with LSU notching out a 7-3 win and making the first set a 7-6 victory for the Tigers.

During the second set, competition was still heated. The teams battled back and forth game-for-game, but the Tigers stepped up to take the set and match with a 6-3 win.

The two Utes will head home Friday as the Tiger duo advances to the Round of 16 in the NCAA's.
