Utah Shut Out By No. 1 Seeded New Mexico Utes lose 5-0 in second round of the MWC Championships

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of Utah men's tennis team, seeded No. 5, was shut out 5-0 by No. 1 seeded New Mexico on April 30, in the second round of the MWC Championships at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego . Utah was swept in doubles and New Mexico clinched the one point lead. The domination continued in singles, as the Lobos took care of the Utes in straight set at five positions. Tomasz Gryzb had a (6-2, 5-4) adavantage over David Kowalski at the No. 2 when the match was called. The Lobos advance to the championships. New Mexico 5, Utah 0
