New Mexico Drops Match at Boise State Lobos fall to 6-3.

Boise, Idaho - The 64th-ranked UNM men's tennis team, looking two sweep its two-match road trip in Boise, Idaho, instead was beaten 6-1 by Region VII foe Boise State University Sunday afternoon. Saturday, the Lobos upended Santa Clara University, 6-1, despite playing without senior Bart Scott, who had to sit out following a knee injury incurred while the team was en route to the match. On Sunday, though, the Lobos couldn't match the previous day's effort, dropping all doubles matches and five of six singles matches. UNM's Divan Coetzee, playing at No. 1, defeated BSU's Marcus Bernston, 6-2, 6-2, for New Mexico's lone point. David Kowalski battled hard at No. 2 but dropped a 6-2, 6-2 match to No. 68 Guillaume Bouvier. The Lobos fall to 6-4 overall this season. They are back in action Friday, March 7 at 3 p.m. with a match against intrastate rival New Mexico State University. No. 64 New Mexico/Boise State University dual match results:
