COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

UNLV junior Seung-su Han has been selected the Mountain West Conference Men's Golfer of the Month for September.

Han, an Incheon, South Korea, native, finished second at the Shoot-out at Angel Park, helping the Rebels to a team title in his only appearance of the month. He had rounds of 68-70-70, to finish at five-under-par on the 6,722-yard course at Angel Park Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nev., just one shot back of individual medalist Brandon Crick from Gonzaga. A two-time all-Mountain West Conference golfer, Han posted a 69.33 scoring average for the month and currently leads the conference in that category for less than 12 rounds played.

This marks Han's second career golfer of the month award. Previously, he earned the honor in Nov. 2005 as a freshman.
