MAPLE GROVE, Minn. - Senior Madalitso Muthiya lost his second round match today at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Tournament. Muthiya fell today to Danny Green 6 and 4 on the par 72, 7,132 yard Rush Creek Golf Club. Green is the hottest player in the tournament after firing a USGA and U.S. Amateur Public Links Tournament 36-hole record of 13-under 131.

Muthiya qualified for the tournament with a win in the Albuquerque qualifying round. In the opening 36 holes at Rush Creek, Muthiya shot an even par 144 to finish tied for 23rd and advance to match play. In the opening round of match play Muthiya defeated Sam Hulsey 2 and 1.
