SAMMAMISH, Wash. - Former UNLV men's golfer Brien Davis fired a three-under par 69 in the final round to win the Tenth Sahalee Players Championship last Saturday at Sahalee Country Club.

Davis finished the four-day tournament with a six-under par 282, topping UTEP All-American Daniel Swanson by three strokes.

The victory was the second of the summer for Davis, who graduated from UNLV last May. He also won the Southwestern Amateur in Tempe, Ariz., last month and qualified for this year's U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship in Galloway, N.J.
