SYRACUSE, Utah -- Two University of Utah golfers recently turned in top-10 finishes at the Glen Eagle Amateur, held at the Glen Eagle Golf Club. Nick Micek finished tied for third, while Chris Gresh was in a tie for seventh at the end of the round.

Micek, a senior-to-be for the Utes, carded a 69 at the Glen Eagle tournament. He was just two strokes off the pace. Micek's score was good enough to finish in a four-way tie for third place.

Gresh was just one stroke back of Micek, tallying a 70 for his round. He finished in a three-way tie for seventh place. Gresh will be a sophomore on the U. squad next season.

Micek played in six events last season for Utah. His top finish was a 17th-place finish at the SUU Thunderbird Invitational last season. Gresh played in 11 events and recorded 31 rounds last season. His 17th-place finish at the Mountain West Conference Championship led the team.
