June 6, 2005 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference was the only league in the country to place three teams in the top 10 at the 2005 NCAA Men's Golf Championship at the Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Md. BYU led all MWC teams with a fourth-place finish, while New Mexico was fifth and UNLV tied for eighth. Georgia won the team title by 11 strokes over Georgia Tech at the 108th NCAA Championship. Individual medalist honors went to Washington's James Lepp, who fired a 72-hole total of four-under 276.
