SUNRIVER, Ore. -- University of Utah golfer Dustin Pimm sits at even par after two rounds of the NCAA Men's Golf Championship after Thursday's second round. Pimm shot a one-over 73 Thursday, leaving him in a tie for 34th place of the 156 golfers in the field.

Pimm opened Thursday's round on the par-four 10th and recorded a bogey to fall back to even par for the tournament. He then tallied three birdies over the next six holes, pulling himself to two-under for the day and three-under for the tournament.

But a bogey on No. 17 slowed Pimm's momentum and he made the turn at one-under for the day. When Pimm got to the front nine, he took bogeys on Nos. 2 and 4. He was one-over for the day. He rebounded to birdie the par-five sixth hole. But Pimm tallied a bogey on the par-four ninth hole -- his final hole of the day -- to finish one-over for the day and even for the tournament.

Kyle Reifers of Wake Forest currently leads all individuals, finishing the second round at nine-under par. The University of Washington is currently leading the team standings at 13-under.

The championship tournament consists of 30 teams and the nation's top six individuals not on those teams. All 156 players will compete on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday while Saturday's final round is cut to the top 15 teams and top six individuals not on an advancing team.
