NORMAN Okla. - The PING All-Region Teams, Eaton Golf Pride Regional Coaches of the Year and the All-Freshman Team have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). New Mexico head coach Glen Millican was named the Eaton Golf Pride Southwest Regional Coach of the Year for the third consecutive season. Millican with the award is now eligible with the nine other Regional Coaches of the Year for the Dave Williams Eaton Golf Pride National Coach of the Year award.

Seniors Miguel Griego and Madalitso Muthiya, juniors Jay Choi and Spencer Levin and sophomore Charlie Beljan were all named to the 15-player PING All-Southwest Region team. The award is the second selection for Choi, Levin and Beljan and the first for Griego and Muthiya. Griego, Muthiya, Choi, Levin and Beljan along with the other 131 All-Region selections are eligible for PING All-America honors.

The University of New Mexico men's golf team will have four of the five All-Southwest Region selections in action today, June 1, at the NCAA Championships in Owings Mills, Md.
