LAS VEGAS - Two UNLV men's golfers were named to the PING All-Pacific Region team on Wednesday as the Golf Coaches Association of America handed out its annual awards.

Junior Jarred Texter and sophomore Seung-Su Han were UNLV's two representatives selected to the Pacific Region squad. This year marks the second straight season that Texter was named all-region. Both Texter and Han were also named to the All-Mountain West Conference team in April.

Each of the nine PING All-Region teams consist of the top 15 individual golfers in their respective region in the Individual Ranking System. Additionally, any player ranked in the top 75 nationally according to the Golfstat or the Sagarin rankings not included in their region's top 15 were added to their all-region team.

Members of the all-region teams are automatically eligible for PING All-America honors, which will be announced following the NCAA Division I Championships.

Texter led the Rebels in scoring average this season with 71.40 over 35 rounds. He finished in the top 20 eight times, which included six top-10 finishes and two top-five's. He led the team with 21 rounds of par or better (17 under par) and turned in his best outing of the season at the William H. Tucker Invitational in September with a second-place finish.

Han was second on the team in scoring average this year with 72.38 over 26 rounds. He finished in the top 20 five times, which included four top-10 finishes and two top-five's. He shot par or better in 14 rounds (11 under par) and had his best showing at the Mountain West Conference Championship with a tie for fourth place.
