Henry House Foundation Set to Donate $25,000 to KinderFrogs School The $25,000 grant will fund new therapeutic equipment and room enhancements to the KinderFrogs School
May 21, 2009
Former TCU graduate and PGA Tour Professional J.J. Henry and the Henry House Foundation will donate $25,000 to fund new therapeutic equipment to the KinderFrogs School on Tuesday. "The Foundation looks to assist tangible projects in the community, and there are not many things more promising than new adaptive equipment and curriculum enhancements for these children," said Henry, who is the founder of the Henry House Foundation. "KinderFrogs benefits both the healthcare and the overall well-being, learning and growth of these children so what better way for our Foundation to impact youth than through this school." TCU's KinderFrogs School is a laboratory school for children with Down Syndrome in the College of Education and will receive a $25,000 grant from the Henry House Foundation, which will enable the early-intervention education preschool to stay current with the latest in room enhancements and give the children access to the best possible therapies on both an integrated and individual level. Following the recognition ceremony at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, there will be a special gathering of KinderFrogs parents and students during the Colonial Golf Tournament at the "Henry House Hide-A-Way" on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. TCU Athletics Media Relations
