The UNLV men's golf team climbed in the rankings this week, peaking as high as seventh in the latest Golfstat Division I head-to-head rankings.

The Rebels checked in at No. 8 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index, improving from their No. 10 ranking in the previous release.

Individually, sophomore Ryan Moore topped the charts for UNLV, tabbed at 17th. Travis Whisman soared to 56th, and Brien Davis ranked 83rd.

UNLV will carry its top-10 rankings into Stillwater, Okla., next week where it will compete at the NCAA Championship. The Rebels are looking for their second team title at the national championship.
