INDIANAPOLIS - The UNLV men's golf team has qualified for its 15th consecutive postseason appearance as it was awarded the No. 2 seed at the NCAA West Regional, the NCAA selection committee announced Monday.

The West Regional will be played May 15-17 at the Washington National Golf Club (Par 72, 7,183 Yards) in Auburn, Wash.

"It's always thrilling to prepare for the postseason," UNLV men's golf head coach Dwaine Knight said. "We're happy that our play this season was strong enough to get us back to the regional and that we're staying out West."

UNLV was one of 81 schools selected for postseason play and one of 27 teams that will compete in the West. The top 10 teams from each regional advance to the NCAA Championship, slated for May 27-30 at Karsten Creek Golf Course in Stillwater, Okla.

The Rebels are currently ranked 10th in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index.
