David Hearn, a junior at the University of Wyoming, is the McLeodUSA Mountain West Conference Men¹s Golfer of the Week. Hearn finished second in a field of 55 and led Wyoming to a first-place finish at the Idaho State Bengal Invitational last Tuesday. He shot par in his first two rounds and closed out the tournament with a 66, which was one stroke shy of his low round for the season of 65. Hearn has now placed in the Top 5 in his last two tournaments and in the Top 10 in six of 10 tournaments during the 1999-2000 season.
