San Diego State's Johansson Named Mountain West Conference Men's Golfer of the Week Sophomore garners honor after finishing first at the Western Intercollegiate.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Lars Johansson was named the Mountain West Conference Men's Golfer of the Week after winning the Western Intercollegiate in a playoff round last week at the Pasatiempo Golf Course in Santa Cruz, Calif. He shot a season-low 65 in the opening round en route to a 206 total (65-67-74) and managed to par the playoff hole despite a tee shot into the trees to defeat Pacific's Jason Higton. Johansson ranks fifth on the MWC leader board with a 72.3 average this season.
