COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV junior Ryan Moore was named Mountain West Conference Men's Golfer of the Month for March after two top 11 finishes and three-rounds under 70.

Moore opened the month with a third place finish at the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas, Nev. He carded three straight 69's for a nine-under 207 on the par 72, 7,440 yard course. He was two strokes off the leader in a field that consisted of seven of the top 10 teams in the country, including each of the top five. The following week at the Hall of Fame Invitational in Humble, Texas, Moore finished 11th after firing a three-under 213 (70-71-72) on the par 72, 7,352 Red Stone Golf Course.
