CSU Fourth at Club Glove Intercollegiate Martin finishes tied for third at 217.

SOMIS, Calif. - When all was said and done at the Club Glove Intercollegeiate in Somis, Calif. two Rams were in the top 10. Senior Nolan Martin shot a final round 73 to finish two strokes behind the lead in a tie with five other golfers for third place. Fellow Senior Martin Laird shot a 75 in the final round to finish one shot behind Martin for ninth place. Junior John Hayes was the next highest golfer for Colorado State. He shot a final round 75 to finish in a tie for 32nd place overall. Sophomore Nate Pettitt dropped to a tie for 48th place with his worst round of the tournament. He shot a final round 81. Senior Kevin McAlpine shot a 78, his best round of the tournament, and finished in a tie for 56th overall. As a team the Rams finished 22 strokes behind first place Pepperdine. They shot a total score of 893. Pepperdine's Michael Putnam won the tournament in a playoff over Tulsa's David Inglis. Next up for Colorado State is the Fresno "Lexus" Classic on Friday in Fresno, Cali.
