We had a lot of fun at the Metreon last night. Brice McCain got to play Play Station 2 College Football 2006 against a Georgia Tech player in front of the whole crowd. Brett Ratliff and I got to walk around the mall and it was really cool and futuristic. There was a Sony place that had all of Sony's new technology and gadgets, an IMAX theater and a bunch of other cool stores.

Today we had the luncheon and it was nice to meet some of the Georgia Tech guys. Eric Weddle and I got to sit with their strong safety and running back.

We also had our walk-through at SBC Park this afternoon. The stadium design is really cool and it will be a fun place to play. Being there is totally different than seeing the park on TV. Our locker room is right next to Barry Bonds' locker. He has a big screen next to his locker as a part of his contract. The TV was removed for this game though.

"The pep rally this morning was canceled this morning due to rain, but we're having one at our hotel later today. I'm looking forward to getting fired up for the game with all of our fans who came here.

I've really been having a lot of fun. Yesterday, the teams got to go on a tour of Alcatraz and it was a great experience learning first-hand all about it. I grew up in San Jose--I lived there for 12 years--yet I'd never been to visit Alcatraz before.

Later we got to walk up and down the wharf. I ate clam chowder, which is my favorite, as well as lobster and shrimp.

We practiced yesterday and today at Laney College. We've been preparing for this game for a month and have seen a lot of film on Georgia Tech. They have a lot of talent and we're excited to play them.

As for me, I'm glad to be back to full speed again and actually taking reps at practice.

I'm really looking forward to the video competition with them tonight at the Metreon. I guess one guy from Georgia Tech will square off against one of our players. I'll have more to say on that tomorrow I'm sure.
