Glenn In The Saddle Champion-builder takes over reins of skittish Cowboys.

By Jim Benton LARAMIE, Wyo. - New Wyoming football coach Joe Glenn knows Colorado well, so state high school coaches can expect the Cowboys to come calling during the next two months. Glenn, the former Montana and Northern Colorado coach who has won three national championships in the past seven years, was introduced as the Cowboys' head coach Thursday in a room filled with boosters and players at the Rochelle Athletics Center. Recruiting is one of the first priorities for Glenn, and players in Colorado will be targeted. "Colorado is our nearest population base, and I'm hoping there are some players down there that want to play college football at a great university," Glenn said. "I know there's some competition down there, but we're going to give it everything we've got.
