ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - New Mexicans are devouring Las Vegas travel packages faster than they can say "bowl game."

The Lobo Club has filled seven buses that will head to the Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 23 and is expecting to sell out its eighth and final bus later this week, spokeswoman Tina Silva said Tuesday.

The University of New Mexico will meet UCLA in the Christmas Day game. It's the Lobos' second bowl appearance in 41 years.

There were 32 slots left Tuesday afternoon for the Lobo Club's package deal, costing $275. It includes round-trip bus transportation, a game ticket, three nights at Fitzgeralds Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas and a tailgate luncheon.
