LAS VEGAS - Three UNLV football players were named First Team All-Mountain West Conference by Phil Steele on Thursday.

Junior wide receiver Ryan Wolfe, senior offensive guard Johan Asiata and junior linebacker Jason Beauchamp were all picked for the top team while sophomore offensive tackle Matt Murphy was tabbed second team. Three more Rebels found spots on Phil Steele's third team: senior running back Frank "The Tank" Summers, senior receiver Casey Flair and freshman receiver Phillip Payne.

This fall, Wolfe tied the school record for receptions in a season with 88 and became the program's first 1,000-yard receiver since 1994 with a total of 1,040. He currently ranks eighth in the nation with 7.33 catches per game and 22nd with 86.67 yards per game.

Asiata started every game this season and graded out highest among UNLV offensive linemen, not allowing a quarterback sack in 358 passing plays.

Beauchamp led the Mountain West Conference and currently ranks seventh in the nation with 10.58 tackles per game. His total of 127 tackles ranked sixth in UNLV single-season history. He also added six tackles for loss, two quarterback sacks and one fumble recovery.
