COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -


The 2007 Mountain West Conference postseason football award winners will be announced live on the MountainWest Sports Network - The Mtn. - on Tuesday, December 4 at 2:00pm Mountain Time.  The Mtn. will be the first and exclusive location to see the results.

"In conjunction with the Mountain West Conference and its member institutions, we are honored to be the first to be able to bring the results to our viewers and the fans prior to the general release," said Kim Carver, Vice President and General Manager of The Mtn.

The one-half hour special will be hosted by Tim Neverett, who will be joined in-studio by analysts James Bates and Beau Morgan. Interviews with the winners will follow each announcement. Award winners for the following categories were selected by the nine conference head coaches and a media panel:

  • Coach of the Year
  • Offensive Player of the Year
  • Defensive Player of the Year
  • Special Teams Player of the Year
  • Freshman Player of the Year
