SAN DIEGO - When San Diego State receivers J.R. Tolver and Kassim Osgood broke NCAA records for most cumulative catches (213) and yards (2,928) by a tandem in a Nov. 23 win over Air Force, the Aztecs pointed to their balance.

There was no padding of statistics at the expense of wins or one receiver over the other. Not with Tolver catching 110 passes for 1,502 yards, Osgood 103 for 1,432.

"Nobody is selfish on this team," said senior Ronnie Davenport, who is third with 49 catches for 344 yards and two touchdowns. "Whoever is open is who gets the ball."

Tolver and Osgood have one more game to add to their NCAA records. The Aztecs (4-8) resumed practice yesterday, after a bye week, in preparation for a nonconference game against Hawaii (9-3) on Saturday (8:05 p.m. PST) in Honolulu.
