FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Colorado State University's football team will open preparations for the Diamond Walnut San Francisco Bowl Thursday afternoon with a 2-hour workout beginning at 3:30 p.m. Colorado State coach Sonny Lubick said today the Rams would then workout again Saturday at a time to be determined. The Rams, 7-5 overall, will face Boston College of the Big East Conference in the second annual game at Pacific Bell Park in San Francisco. Kickoff time is 7:30 p.m. PST/8:30 p.m. MST. The Rams earned a school-record fifth straight bowl trip by winning 5 of the team's final 7 games, including a 24-23 win at UNLV to conclude the regular season. Backup quarterback Justin Holland - who relieved starter Bradlee Van Pelt after the Rams' star suffered a broken right hand - drove the Rams 80 yards and threw a 3-yard scoring pass to H-back

Joel Dreessen for the tying touchdown. Kicker Jeff Babcock's point-after with 57 seconds remaining in the game clinched the game for the Rams. Bowl tickets are available by calling 491-RAMS, toll-free, 1-800-491-RAMS, or online at CSUBOWL.com. Tickets are also available at all King Soopers and City Market grocery store locations throughout the state of Colorado.
