Colorado Springs, Colo.‹Sean Stein (New Mexico), Scott Nicholson (San Diego State) and Dallas Davis (Colorado State) were named Mountain West Conference Players of the Week for their performances on the football field last weekend. Davis earns the award for the second time this season.

Sean Stein, New Mexico, QB, Junior (MWC Offensive Player of the Week)
Sean Stein completed 21-of-29 passes for a career-high 300 yards and two touchdowns in a 33-28 win over Air Force. Stein was 9-for-10 passing for 171 yards and two touchdowns in the second half. Stein rushed for a touchdown and also caught a 3-yard pass for a first down in the key third-quarter drive. New Mexico finished the season 4-7 overall and 3-4 (5th place tie) in the Mountain West Conference.

Scott Nicholson, San Diego State, DT, Senior (MWC Defensive Player of the Week)
Scott Nicholson played an integral role in San Diego State's defensive effort in the Aztecs' 39-7 win over Wyoming. He recorded six unassisted tackles, including two for 17 yards in losses. Nicholson also forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, knocked down two passes and recorded a sack for a 10-yard loss. San Diego State finished tied with New Mexico in the conference (3-4, 5th place) and compiled a 5-6 overall record.

Dallas Davis, Colorado State, PR/WR, Junior (MWC Special Teams Player of the Week)
Dallas Davis returned five punts for 112 yards including a 77-yarder which led to the team's first touchdown in the Rams¹ 35-17 win over UNLV. He finished the season with 543 punt return yards, just 12 shy of the school¹s single season record. Colorado State (8-3, 5-2) clinched a share of the conference title and closed out the season with five consecutive victories.
