LARAMIE, Wyo. - What does any cowboy worth his salt do after being bucked off a horse?

He picks himself up off the ground, brushes the dirt off his britches, and gets back on the horse.

That is what the University of Wyoming football Cowboys will be looking to do this Saturday against New Mexico after suffering a disappointing 47-17 setback to Utah this past weekend in Salt Lake City.

The loss knocked Wyoming out of the MWC championship picture. At the same time, the win guaranteed Utah no less than a share of the league crown. The Utes can win the MWC title outright this Saturday with a win over archrival BYU in Provo, Utah.

While the Utes are rejoicing, the Cowboys are regrouping with hopes of getting bowl eligible by winning their last two home games against the Lobos and UNLV.

The Cowboys played the heavily favored Utes on an even keel throughout the first half. The two teams went into the locker room for the halftime break tied at 17.
