Morrison's Attention on Bowl Bid, Not NFL The North County Times Feature Story

By Mike Sullivan SAN DIEGO - San Diego State needs to win its final two regular-season games to keep its hopes alive of qualifying for a rare postseason bowl appearance. That much is easy to figure. More difficult to assess is whether a bowl game would be middle linebacker Kirk Morrison's final college game. The junior standout continues to say he's "not leaning either way" on the topic of returning for his senior season or entering the NFL draft. "The rest of this season is going to tell everything for me," Morrison said earlier this week. "This is what I came to do. I came to go to a bowl game. I came to win a conference title." "For us to be playing games like this at this time (of the season) is so big for me."
