Mountain West Conference Reprimands Wyoming Football Coach

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

University of Wyoming Football Head Coach Joe Glenn has been issued a public reprimand for his obscene gesture toward the opposing team's bench during the third quarter of the November 10, 2007 Wyoming at Utah football contest. Coach Glenn's action was in violation of MWC Sportsmanship Rule 4.3.3.

The MWC expressed appreciation for the support of the MWC Sportsmanship Policy by the University of Wyoming and Athletics Director Tom Burman. The Mountain West Conference will have no further comment regarding this case.
