Stadium Expansion
Expansion and renovation construction continues at Sonny Lubick Field at
Hughes Stadium. In the first phase of the project 4,400 permanent seats
have been installed in the north end zone, along with two new
scoreboards and a new video replay board. In the next year, the
construction will be completed with the addition of 12 luxury suites, a
renovated press box, and an expanded Rams Horn premium club seating
area.

Colorado State is 25-8 in games played during the month of November
during Sonny Lubick's 11 previous seasons.
Senior Salute
Ten Colorado State seniors conclude their home playing careers Saturday
when the Rams face UNLV. The list includes six starters, including:
K/P Jeff Babcock (Tampa, Fla.), is second in school history in career
scoring and also has handled the team's punting duties the past two
seasons.
H-back Joel Dreessen (Fort Morgan, Colo.), has 117 career receptions,
second most by a tight end in school history. Dreessen also needs one
more reception to join the school's top 10 career list.
DE Patrick Goodpaster (Carson, Calif.), ranks among the league leaders
in tackles for loss and has started a team-best 44 games in his career,
22 in a row.
RB Marcus Houston (Denver, Colo.), has been a top reserve and
part-time starter for the Rams in the backfield and was impressive with
51 yards at Utah.
LB Landon Jones (Littleton, Colo.), has missed the entire season with
a hamstring injury.
DT Chris Kiffin (Tampa, Fla.), has been a part-time starter and top
reserve the past four seasons for the Rams.
DB Adam Lancisero (Orange, Calif.), joined CSU's program in 2003 as a
walkon and was a late-season starter. He has started seven games in
2004 and leads the team in tackles.
OT Erik Pears (Denver, Colo.), is a four-year starter who earned
first-team all-conference honors in 2003 and has started 38 games in his
career including the past 22 in a row.
LS John Treacy (Littleton, Colo.), is a former walkon who snaps on
field goals and point-after tries.

Youthful Rams
Colorado State has used six true freshmen in the lineup thus far in
2004: WR Damon Morton, RB Gartrell Johnson, DE Matt Rupp, H-back Kory
Sperry, QB Caleb Hanie, and RB Kyle Bell. The Rams are one of the most
youthful teams in the nation with only six seniors (excluding kicking
specialists) on the depth chart.
Eighteen Return
Colorado State loses six departing seniors from the 2004 squad who have
exhausted their playing eligibility. The Rams will welcome back 18
starters from this season's team for 2005. The breakdown includes 10
starters on offense and eight on defense.
Six 100's
Colorado State has boasted a 100-yard receiving performance in six of
nine contests to date. WR David Anderson had his fourth 100-yard game
of the year and 10th of his career (third most in school history) when

made, including three in the Rams' win over Wyoming. Babcock passed
former K Steve Deline (46) for the top spot. He has attempted 66 field
goals in his career, one shy of Jon Poole's school record (67), from
1980-83.

baseball club. Dreessen's 117 career receptions are just one shy of
joining the school's career list. The 10th spot is held by Paul Turner
(1993-97), 118.
First Game Points
Six times in nine games to date opponents have scored the first points
in a game including the Rams two recent victories over San Diego State
and Wyoming.
First Frosh Starter
True freshman H-back Kory Sperry made his first career start - and has
started four games in a row - in the win at San Diego State in place of
injured TE Brandon Alconcel. Sperry responded by catching three passes
- his first career receptions - good for 36 yards including a 20-yard
gain. Sperry was even more impressive in the win over Wyoming when he
led the Rams with four receptions for 71 yards, including a career-best
33-yard gain on a throw by fellow freshman QB Caleb Hanie. Sperry
scored his first career touchdown in unorthodox fashion: He recovered
teammate RB Uldis Jaunarajs' fumble in the end zone to give the Rams a
lead they would never relinquish.
Nearly Half

have been 70 yards or more, including three in last week's game at Utah.
Rushing Numbers

carried a career-most 32 times for a career-high 124 yards and a
touchdown in the win over Wyoming. It is the most carries by a CSU
runningback since Cecil Sapp had 34 attempts against Wyoming in 2002.
Lancisero Joins Top 10
S Adam Lancisero leads Colorado State with 81 tackles in 2004. He made
a career-most 20 tackles in the game at Utah, tying for the 10th most
tackles in a game in CSU history. Nine of Lancisero's tackles were
solo. It is the first time since 1996 that a Rams' player has had as
many as 20 tackles in a game. That season, Kevin McDougal - who later
earned fame as a CSU runningback - had 22 tackles while playing safety
for the Rams in a game at Nebraska.
10 Straight
S Adam Lancisero, who has started the team's past three games and seven
in 2004, has had at least six or more tackles in 10 consecutive games,
dating back to the 2003 San Francisco Bowl game with Boston College.
That is the longest active streak by any member of the squad.

Colorado State has an impressive 64-24 (72 percent) record in 88
conference games since Sonny Lubick's arrival as head coach in 1993.

field goals per game, has had three or more field goals in a game 11
times in his career. Twice, he has made four field goals in a game.
Babcock, as a sophomore in 2002, tied the school record with five field
goals in the Rams' win at Virginia to open that season.

broke free on a 48-yard scoring run at Utah, the longest rush of the
season by a Ram.
Early Birds
Saturday's game between the Rams and UNLV features the earliest kickoff
time - 10 a.m. - in stadium history. Twice earlier this season, the
Rams have started games at 8 p.m. - the latest kickoff in stadium
history.
Final Home Game
Colorado State is 8-3 in the final home game of the season during Sonny
Lubick's past 11 seasons as coach. The last loss in the final game came

at Utah, replacing RB Uldis Jaunarajs, who had left the game with a
concussion. Herbert responded by returning five kickoffs for 116 yards
(23.2 yards per return), and had a 40-yard return, the longest of the
season by a Ram.
Long Rush
Six times in nine games to date opponents have scored the first points
in a game including the Rams two recent victories over San Diego State
and Wyoming.

and the Rams have also used a pair of true freshmen in the starting
lineup: QB Caleb Hanie and H-back Kory Sperry.
