Week 10 MWC Football Schedule Includes National Broadcast Air Force-Army clash to be televised on CSTV

All four games involving Mountain West Conference football teams will be televised on Saturday, November 3, including one contest that will be available nationwide on cable and satellite systems. The national broadcast is part of a 19-game package between the MWC and its television partners, CSTV and VERSUS. Overall, 30 football games involving MWC teams will be available on cable and satellite systems this season. Week 10 action on Saturday features three Mountain West Conference tilts and a non-conference match-up between service academies. An MWC tripleheader on The Mtn.-MountainWest Sports Network opens with Colorado State at BYU in a 12 p.m. MT kickoff, followed by New Mexico at TCU at 4:30 p.m. CT, and Wyoming at San Diego State at 6 p.m. PT. Elsewhere, Air Force hosts Army in a 1:30 p.m. MT contest that will be televised on CSTV. League-leading BYU (5-2, 3-0 MWC) puts an 11-game MWC win streak on the line against Colorado State (1-7, 1-4 MWC). The Cougars lead the series with the Rams, 35-27-3, and enjoy a 19-11 record in games played in Provo. As MWC opponents, BYU is 5-3 vs. Colorado State and has won three straight in the series, including a 24-3 decision last year in Fort Collins. Air Force (6-3, 5-2 MWC) will be looking to even its record at 1-1 in the Commander-in-Chief trophy race against Army (3-5). The Falcons have won nine of their last 10 meetings with the Black Knights, including a 43-7 decision last year at West Point. Air Force leads the series with Army, 27-13-1 overall, and boasts a 16-3 advantage in games played at Falcon Stadium. TCU (4-4, 1-3 MWC) has won both of its clashes with New Mexico (6-2, 3-1 MWC) as MWC opponents, including a 27-21 decision last year in Albuquerque, and leads the series by a 5-3 margin overall. The Horned Frogs have won three of their four meetings with the Lobos in Fort Worth. San Diego State (2-5, 1-2 MWC) has won five in a row over Wyoming (5-3, 2-2 MWC) at Qualcomm Stadium and holds a 9-5 lead in games played in San Diego. The Cowboys lead the overall series, 15-13, while the Aztecs have won six of the eight meetings with Wyoming as MWC opponents. The two teams have split their last four meetings, with each squad winning two apiece on its home turf. Four of the last five contests have been decided by 10 or fewer points, including a 27-24 victory by Wyoming last season in Laramie.
