COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - John Beck (BYU), Brett Ratliff (Utah), Robert Henson (TCU) and Kenny Byrd (New Mexico) are Mountain West Conference Players of the Week for games through Oct. 28. Beck and Ratliff share Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Henson garners the Defensive Player award and Byrd receives Special Teams recognition. This is Beck's seventh career weekly honor and fourth of the season. Byrd collects his second career award and second weekly honor of the season. Henson is a first time weekly award winner.

CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
JOHN BECK, BYU

Senior, Quarterback, Mesa, Ariz./Mountain View
Senior quarterback John Beck led BYU to a 33-14 victory at Air Force, completing 23-of-31 pass attempts for 258 yards and three touchdowns. Beck posted a completion percentage of 74 percent en route to his fifth three-touchdown performance of the season, including his fourth straight game with three or more touchdown completions. BYU had a total of eight drives during the game. The Beck-led offense engineered points in six of the eight drives, including a 14-play, 81-yard drive to mark the fourth straight game BYU has scored on the opening drive.

BRETT RATLIFF, UTAH
Senior, Quarterback, Chico, Calif./Butte College
Senior quarterback Brett Ratliff completed 19-of-23 passes for 268 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in Utah's 45-23 victory over UNLV. He also rushed for a two-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Ratliff connected on all nine of his second-half pass attempts and finished the game with a streak of 10 consecutive completions. His 268 passing yards marked his highest output against a MWC opponent and marked his sixth 200-yard game in 11 career starts.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ROBERT HENSON, TCU

Sophomore, Linebacker, Longview, Texas/Longview
Sophomore linebacker Robert Henson keyed a TCU defense that limited Wyoming to 165 yards of total offense, including 28 yards rushing on 26 carries. Henson led the Horned Frogs with eight tackles (seven solo), including two for a loss (11 yards) with one sack. He also forced a fumble on a Wyoming kickoff return which was converted into a TCU field goal.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KENNY BYRD, New Mexico

Senior, Place Kicker, Albuquerque, N.M./St. Pius X
Senior place kicker Kenny Byrd kicked two field goals, including the game-winner from 33 yards out as time expired, to give New Mexico a 20-19 victory at Colorado State. Byrd also connected from 39 yards in the first period as the Lobos overcame a 19-10 deficit entering the fourth quarter to capture the win. It was Byrd's second game-winning field goal in the past three games and the third of his career, with all of the kicks coming on the road.
