Mountain West Names Football Players of the Week

Boise State QB Kellen Moore and LB Byron Hout, TCU WR Antonio Graves honored

Kellen Moore (Boise State) and Byron Hout (Boise State) and Antonio Graves (TCU) are the Mountain West Players of the Week for games through Oct. 22. Moore is receiving the award for the fourth time, while Hout and Graves are being presented with the honor for the first time in their careers.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

KELLEN MOORE, BOISE STATE
Senior, Quarterback, Prosser, Wash./Prosser HS

Kellen Moore completed 23-of-29 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns while compiling an efficiency rating of 187.95 in Boise State's 37-26 win over Air Force. His touchdown passes covered 24, 19 and 2 yards as he tied former Texas quarterback Colt McCoy for the most career wins (45) in NCAA history.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

BYRON HOUT, BOISE STATE
Senior, Linebacker, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho/Lake City HS

Byron Hout had a career-high 18 tackles in Boise State's 37-26 win over Air Force. Hout recorded eight unassisted stops and was credited with a half tackle for loss. Hout's tackle total represented the most by a Bronco since Cam Hall recorded 19 against Louisville in the 2004 Liberty Bowl.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ANTONIO GRAVES, TCU
Freshman, Wide Receiver, Texarkana, Texas/Pleasant Grove HS

Antonio Graves scored his first collegiate touchdown when he recovered a blocked punt in the end zone during TCU's 69-0 win over New Mexico. He also forced a fumble on a kickoff return and added a tackle.
