Kellen Moore (Boise State), Tekerrein Cuba (TCU) and Ross Evans (TCU) are the Mountain West Players of the Week for games through Oct. 8. Moore and Evans are receiving the award for the third time, while Cuba is being presented with the honor for the first time in his career.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KELLEN MOORE, BOISE STATE
Senior, Quarterback, Prosser, Wash./Prosser HS
Kellen Moore completed 23-of-31 passes for 254 yards and three touchdowns in just over two quarters of play in Boise State's 57-7 win at Fresno State. Moore's efficiency rating for the game was 174.95 as he threw scoring passes covering 4, 18 and 4 yards.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TEKKEREIN CUBA, TCU
Senior, Safety, Tyler, Texas/Robert E. Lee HS
Tekkerein Cuba finished with a team-high eight tackles in the Horned Frogs' 27-14 win at San Diego State. Cuba also had a tackle for loss, forced a fumble and broke up a pass in helping limit an Aztecs offense averaging 415.0 yards to 296 yards of total offense.

ROSS EVANS, TCU
Senior, Placekicker, Burnet, Texas/Burnet HS
Ross Evans finished with nine points in the Horned Frogs' 27-14 win at San Diego State, tying the Mountain West all-time scoring record of 356 set by former New Mexico running back DonTrell Moore (2002-05). Evans connected on field goals of 47 and 21 yards while making all three of his PAT attempts.
