COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - MWC on TV

All seven games involving Mountain West Conference football teams will be televised this week, including three contests that will be available nationwide on cable and satellite systems.

Two of the three national broadcasts are part of a 19-game package between the MWC and its television partners, CSTV and VERSUS. Overall, 30 football games involving MWC teams will be available on cable and satellite systems this season.

Action gets started Thursday, September 13, as Air Force (2-1, 1-0 MWC) welcomes conference foe TCU (1-1, 0-0 MWC) in a CSTV-televised outing, set for 6 p.m. MT in Colorado Springs. The Horned Frogs have won four in a row against the Falcons, who enter the contest riding a two-game win streak under new coach Troy Calhoun.

Saturday's slate of MWC games kicks off at 3 p.m. MT with a VERSUS telecast featuring No. 11 UCLA (2-0) at Utah (0-2). This marks just the ninth meeting between the Bruins and the Utes, who are squaring off in Salt Lake City for the first time since 1974.

Wyoming (2-0) takes its show on the road for the first time this season with a 6 p.m. MT outing at Boise State (1-1). The Cowboys have won three in a row heading into Saturday's contest, which will be televised locally on KTVB and will be available on ESPN's Game Plan.

BYU (1-1) and Tulsa (1-0) square off Saturday in another CSTV-televised contest, set to get underway at 8 p.m. CT in Tulsa, Okla. The Cougars have won all six of their meetings with the Golden Hurricane, including a 49-24 decision last season in Provo.

In a pair of games that will air regionally Saturday on FSN Arizona, New Mexico (1-1) visits Arizona (1-1), while San Diego State (0-1) travels to Arizona State (2-0). Game time for the UNM-Arizona contest is set for 7 p.m. PT, with the Lobos looking to snap a four-game losing streak to the Wildcats in a series that dates back to 1908. The SDSU-ASU game is also slated to start at 7 p.m. PT, with the Aztecs taking on their second straight Pac-10 opponent of the season.

In Las Vegas, UNLV (1-1) plays host to its second consecutive ranked opponent as No. 24/22 Hawai`i (2-0) comes into town on Saturday. The host Rebels have won three of the last four meetings with the Warriors, including two straight in Las Vegas.
