NCAA FOOTBALL GAME OF THE WEEK
Two Mountain West Conference teams will be featured this week as part of the NCAA Football Game of the Week on Westwood One Sports. Westwood One, in association with Host Communications, will broadcast to a live national radio audience the BYU vs. Mississippi State game on Thursday before airing the Colorado State at Arizona State game on Saturday.

    WEEKLY HONORS
Mike Thiessen (Air Force), Andre Dyson (Utah) and Pete Rebstock (Colorado State) were named Mountain West Conference Players of the Week for their performances on the football field last weekend. Thiessen and Dyson earn the award for the second time in their careers, while Rebstock receives the honor for the first time.

Mike Thiessen, Air Force, QB, Senior (MWC Offensive Player of the Week)
The arm of Mike Thiessen propelled the Falcons to a 31-23 victory over visiting BYU in the conference opener on Saturday. The Modesto, Calif., native completed 11-of-16 passes for a career-high 203 yards and a school record-tying four touchdowns. It is the most touchdown passes thrown by an Air Force quarterback in the option era and is the most since Rich Haynie threw four against Arizona State in 1972. Thiessen, who also ran for 20 yards, established a new career-high with a 53-yard touchdown pass.

Andre Dyson, Utah, DB, Senior (MWC Defensive Player of the Week)
A second-team All-Mountain West performer in 1999, Andre Dyson recorded 11 tackles and 3 pass breakups in Utah¹s 24-21 loss at California on Saturday. The Clinton, Utah, native also intercepted a pass and returned it 58 yards for a touchdown. Dyson now has 34 career pass breakups which ranks second in school history, eight behind Sean Knox who played from 1987-90.

Pete Rebstock, Colorado State, KR/PR, Junior (MWC Special Teams Player of the Week)
Pete Rebstock contributed in several ways in the Rams¹ 41-7 victory against East Tennessee State. The Englewood, Colo., native returned six punts for 102 yards (17.0 ypr) including a long of 47 yards. Rebstock returned a pair of kickoffs for 65 yards with a long of 43 yards. He also caught three passes for 32 yards. Rebstock ranks 16th nationally with a 17.0 punt return average.
