FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU head football coach Gary Patterson and his wife, Kelsey, have announced that the fourth-annual Gary Patterson Foundation Benefit Reception and Auction, to be held July 14 at Joe T. Garcia's Mexican Restaurant in Fort Worth, is sold out.

It is the only major fundraising event the Foundation hosts each year.

Several major sponsors have contributed to the success of this year's event, including Joe T. Garcia's, Fort Worth, Texas magazine, National Republic Distributing and special underwriters Ann and Malcolm Louden.

With the funds raised at the annual benefit reception and auction, the Foundation supports youth organizations across Tarrant County. This year, the Foundation has already awarded grants to groups that include Communities in Schools (CIS) of Greater Tarrant County, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, Junior Achievement, KinderFrogs, University Little League and the Youth Sports Council of Fort Worth, Inc.

"We have some incredible people in our community who work with kids of all different backgrounds," Gary Patterson said. "Through our Foundation, we feel we can help those people succeed."

"The Gary Patterson Foundation is committed to helping children in our area," Kelsey Patterson said. "We should provide every child that has a desire to succeed with an outlet to do so. It is also vital that we develop that desire in some by allowing them to dream bigger than they ever thought was possible."
