South End Zone Construction Photos

June 20, 2007

FORT WORTH, Texas - With the summer heat beginning to set in, construction on the south end zone of Amon G. Carter Stadium has begun to take shape over the course of the last few weeks. Throughout the coming months Gofrogs.com will provide images of the progress.

Scheduled to be completed prior to the 2008 football season, the project will provide six suites and 226 club seats. The project will also include additional academic space, meeting rooms and hospitality rooms.

A recent stage in the construction process was the clearing of the Lettermen's Lounge inside Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. All of the memorabilia, trophies and furniture that were in the room were moved into storage this week. Once construction in the area is completed, some of the items will once again be on display.

HKS and Austin Commercial are combining efforts on the design and construction of the entire project.
