DALLAS -- TCU offensive guard Matty Lindner has been named to the watch list for the 2007 Outland Trophy, honoring the nation's best interior lineman.

Lindner was an All-Mountain West Conference selection last season. He started all 13 games and allowed just one sack. TCU surrendered only 15 sacks in 2006, tying for the sixth-lowest mark in the country.

A senior from Comfort, Texas, Lindner was instrumental in the Horned Frogs placing ninth nationally in rushing (194.6 yards per game) and 17th in total offense (408.5 yards per game).

TCU opens the 2007 campaign with a Sept. 1 home game versus Baylor.
